Airtight Window Systems Ltd was founded in Dublin 12 in 2003 by Owen, who still runs the day-to-day and personally surveys most of the homes we quote. We supply and fit uPVC windows, composite doors, sliding patio doors, French doors and back doors across greater Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow.
We’ve never been a franchise, never used outside fitters, never been part of a chain. Same family. Same Parkwest workshop. Same standards. Owen answers the phone himself within 24 hours and walks every customer through their options before quoting.
Today we’re an SEAI registered contractor — eligible for the 2026 €5,600 grant — fully insured and backed by a written 10-year workmanship guarantee on every install.
Four things any honest window installer should be able to point at — SEAI registration, time on the ground, who’s actually fitting your windows, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Officially registered with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland — required for the €5,600 windows & doors grant. Our registration number is on every quote.
Family-owned since 2003. Same family, same Parkwest workshop. Owen has surveyed homes from Tallaght to Bray and back for two decades.
Every Airtight install is carried out by a fitting team averaging 15+ years on the tools. Owen oversees every project from survey to sign-off.
Fully insured on every installation. Written guarantee on the door slab, the frame, the seals, and the workmanship itself — not just the product.
Owen establishes Airtight Window Systems Ltd at the Parkwest premises in Dublin 12. Family-owned from day one.
Reached the first 1,000-home milestone, mostly across South-West Dublin and the M50 commuter belt.
Joined the SEAI registered contractor list — eligible to install for the Better Energy Homes grant scheme.
SEAI windows & doors grant becomes available as a standalone measure (no One Stop Shop required) — Airtight installs surge in greater Dublin.
Today: 5,247+ homes completed across Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow. Same family, same workshop, same standards.
A simple, transparent four-step process. We confirm SEAI eligibility on the survey, every U-value spec goes in writing, and our installation team carries out the work.
Owen calls within 24 hours. A surveyor visits, measures every opening with a laser level, and we send a fully itemised written quote — every U-value spec in writing.
Most of our products (Palladio composite doors, A-rated uPVC profiles) are manufactured in Ireland. Lead time is typically 4–6 weeks from order to install.
Our installation team carries out the work, averaging 15+ years on the tools. Most full-house jobs are completed in 1–3 working days with full make-good and clean-up.
You get a written 10-year workmanship guarantee, post-install BER assistance for SEAI grants, and a real person on the phone if anything ever needs attention.
We treat every install like it’s our own home. Surfaces are protected before work starts, debris cleared as we go, and the finished install gets a final walk-through with the customer before we leave site.
Every door slab, frame, seal and lock comes under our written 10-year workmanship guarantee. If something needs attention years later, you ring the same office — not a call centre.
